We called this company for a generator replacement quote and Marc came out within just a few hours! The price was reasonable so we went ahead and hired them for the job. They ordered our generator and came back a few weeks later for the installation. Just 4 hours later, the new generator was up and running. I highly recommend this company for any generator replacement or servicing. Thank you Marc for a great job!

Zachary was on time. I was notified he was on his way. He introduced himself. He explained what he was going to do and afterward, what was needed. Very friendly. He explained what would be needed for next year. I would highly recommend Residential Generator Service LLC!

I have been a happy customer of RGS for several years. Tom is friendly and has always answered any questions clearly. His business is focused strictly on generators so he brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to his work. He precedes his visits with text messages, arrives on time, and has excellently maintained our whole house generator so that it has always worked when I needed it. He earned my trust and I will continue relying on him in the future.

Great service. They are very knowledgeable about generators of all kinds. They had to come out twice and both times they did an excellent job and were so friendly and knowledgeable. Totally recommend them.

I was very pleased with the work that was done. Technician was on time and very knowledgeable . Highly recommend.

Second time using Residential Generator Service, both times we’ve been completely satisfied with their work. Very knowledgeable servicemen, who don’t waste time (or money) on diagnostics, and are very reasonable with the hourly labor costs. We will be using them for any and all generator needs going forward.

UPDATE 5/5/2026: Annual servicing of our generator was uneventful, and performed within a couple of hours. Excellent support as always.

Outstanding service with skilled technicians (especially Tom) that are willing to explain exactly what is being maintained and/or replaced along with aligning to Generac components and requirements.

My experience with RGS was excellent. Zachary he took the time to explain what my service would entail in great detail. Scheduling was very easy and the communication before the service vist was extremely helpful. The service appointment was on time and everything went perfectly .Marc performed the service and I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional as well as courteous. I already scheduled my 6 month follow up service. I highly recommend RGS.

Zach from RGS came to perform our annual generator service on 4/1/26. The overall experience was similar to RGS's two previous visits: stellar! Zach notified us when he was about 30 minutes away and arrived right on time. He let us know when he was about to start and would check back in when he was finished. During the process, he took photos of the unit to document the system status, as well as his maintenance steps. In less than an hour, Zach finished the job and gave us a verbal summary of the work he performed. Throughout the entire process, Zach was courteous and professional.

As I indicated in my previous review, RGS is the most dependable and reliable generator servicing company that I have worked with since installing the generator over ten years ago. They should be your go-to for all generator service and repair.

It is very difficult to find companies that are dedicated to generator repair and maintenance. It is even harder to find reliable, knowledgeable technicians who meet expectations. Residential Generator Services (RGS), and its owner Marc, exceeded both challenges! I contacted RGS through their website and Marc called me back within a few hours. I briefly described the issue with my generator (Generac 22kw) and Marc indicated that it was an issue that he felt comfortable diagnosing and repairing. Within 90 minutes of arriving at my house, Marc adjusted the valves (cause of primary issue), performed annual maintenance, updated the operating system software, replaced the battery and the oil sensor, fully cleaned the inside and outside of the unit, and tested the transfer switch. It is like a brand new generator!

If you are having any kind of issue with your generator, and reliability and great service is important to you, RGS is the company you should call.

Marc and his team continue their excellent, professional, knowledgeable work at a fair competitive price. Highly recommend them.
